An emotionally captivating spiritual ride, outlining some of the things any inquisitive mind ponders when thinking of matters regarding life, death, spirituality and the afterlife. A surreal account that truly inspires uncontrollable fits of chills, emotion and profound understanding & epiphanies. Summerland is an exquisitely interesting journey that can offer some perspective of not only the hereafter, but our decisions and actions in life and how they impact us and others on a personal level; as well as the ‘grander scheme’ of existentiality.

It offers information predominately unavailable to those living an earthly existence, and transcends any information able to be conveyed by near-death-experiencers. This is mainly owed to the fact that they simply did not have the opportunity or “time” to “live” the full afterlife experience, such as visiting the Great Library and learning the dynamics of travel and the intricacies of available work in the afterlife – for instance. As a researcher and author, Summerland has presented concepts that corroborate unrelatedly-sourced information in conjunction with the existence of ‘life-after-life’.

I could safely sum up that:

It’s a new paradigm in ethereal understanding. May offer insight that can console those suffering grief from loss. In addition, the large amount of information (well within the scope of logicality) can serve as a great referable source for spiritual-beginners and experts alike. Summerland is a profound page-turner that only disappoints when there are none left to turn!

Okay, if you’ve ever wondered that you may be different or why you feel different or, are different from other people in the way you think about life/death/afterlife – what it’s really all about, what happens to you when you die, good and bad in afterlife, that there actually is an afterlife. Well, THIS IS THEE BOOK TO READ. It answers all your questions regarding the above and more. The book literally draws you in more and more as you read. It is so very reassuring to know that what I always thought and felt about all of these topics is actually what does in fact happen and, it was to me also very reassuring and comforting at the same time. I met Leo some years ago and felt that I had known him forever. He is a very gentle and cuddly soul with a lovely smile and gentle voice, I would text and email him out of the blue for reassurance and sometimes in blind panic when my husband was dying and, after he died and he was always always there for me instantly and it was just so wonderful how he calmed me down and reassured me that all would be well. I will always be grateful to him for that. I love the name of the book Summerland, it’s so right and the cover of the book is just glorious. That this is a book from spirit is truly an incredible thing for Leo to have done, we are so lucky. I promise you you will not be disappointed with this book. Buy and enjoy. I will read this again and again but I’ll never let anyone borrow it, sorry but it’s too special – you’ll have to get your own!

With Leo’s extensive knowledge and experience with Spirit I was expecting, in his book, something fantastic – I was not disappointed!! This book is hard to put down once you start reading. I was fascinated to find a few connections with the book: the day that Alex passed over is the day my youngest daughter was born, Maria who helps Alex so much in his initial days in Spirit, is also the name of my sister. Once I got stuck in with it I just kept feeling as if it were written for me to fill in gaps and questions that I had. This channelled book answers so many questions anyone could have regarding passing over into the world of spirit and what to expect when you are there. The question of working whilst in spirit was also cleared up for me. It is wonderful how situations are put together to enable a brilliant end result. While we say ‘what a co-incidence’ we know it is not so but a beautifully engineered turn of events that have been created by spirit to get the desired end result. I also love the warmth in this book, what a wonderful way of Spirit to get their message over to us clearly and effortlessly. This book is easy to read for everyone. For those starting on their spiritual journey this is a ‘must read’. For those already on the path this book clarifies and answers questions that you may have. Thank you Leo. I can’t wait for your book ‘Training for Mediumship’ to be printed

Once I had a block of time to settle down with this book, I could not put it down! I was carried into the story of Alex and the “Change” he experienced as he explored Spirit throughout this story. Leo Bonomo, channeling this narrative as it was given to him by Spirit, has provided us with many examples of how we learn and develop as we progress to a higher level of spiritual understanding and being. All we need to do is ask for help and guidance along the way. Spirit is ever ready to assist, when, of our own free will, we ask for direction for our highest good. We see that there is no need to fear passing into “Summerland” and that all the love and caring we seek will meet us there. I will be giving “Summerland” as gifts. This is a book that needs to be shared. Thank you, Leo Bonomo and Spirit, for this collaboration!

5.0 out of 5 stars A simple and inspiring book, 3 April 2014
By

This review is from: Summerland Leo Bonomo (Paperback)
Leo kindly let me have a copy of this book for review and I’m delighted he did. It is a simple story containing truths about the afterlife, some of which have been given to us elsewhere but not in such an easily accessible way. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we were courageous and enlightened enough to make this a story that was read to primary school children? It is one that can be accepted as just that – a story – no different to the fantasy tales that are always so popular with children. But read and explained by teachers in a sensitive way to allow children to make up their own minds, it would be far better than offering the dogma offered by religion and help little ones perhaps to have some wisps of the memory of their real home in Spirit. I found it uplifting and inspiring – and also, in places, very familiar as I’m sure others will too. Alex is a sympathetic, ‘boy-next-door’-type character admitting to many of the fears and insecurities we all have and learning that love can overcome fear, something we can all get to grips with here on the Earth plane if we choose to do so. Underlying the story, the atmosphere in which we live on Earth pervades the events described in the book showing us how difficult it is to focus on love rather than fear. A good, short, informative and enjoyable read.

Dear Leo, I have just finished reading your book Summerland. It is really something special. The weirdest thing is, that it has left me confused. Not because it says something I found unusual, but because it correlates to my own experiences I had throughout my life but never followed them up. I had a near death experience and many other things happened to me when I was younger. The funny thing is, while reading, I felt everything that I read about (Alex’s experiences) was ‘normal’ to me, while I always felt like an ‘alien’ here on Earth. I usually feel like I don’t really belong here, even that I’m not ‘human’… I have always followed the ‘instinct’ and acted ‘impulsively’ on life decisions.. and was usually accused that I’m incapable of ‘thinking about actions, or planning’, but since my near death experience, when I practically ‘knocked on Heaven’s Doors’, but haven’t entered, I felt I had a mission, and I know I was just blindly following some sort of guidance, that I wasn’t conscious about.
That mission escapes me now. I remember that when I was floating between life and death, and feeling reluctant to come back down, the thought appeared in my mind:” It’s not your time. You have tasks to accomplish…You need to show the way..”. At that time, I thought I had to ‘show a way’ to my grandmother, who was refusing to pass over (she was very ill and clinged to life desperately out of fear for about 10 years). The day after I told her about my experiences, she peacefully died. Strangely enough, I felt happy for her. And on her funeral, when I was putting flowers into the grave, I slipped with one foot into the grave. The connotation seemed so funny to me then (and I sensed to my grandmother’s spirit, as if she was giggling) that I started laughing out loud. Being aware that it’s a strange thing to do on a funeral of my beloved gran, I covered my mouth till the tears (of laughter) started. It was about a month later when the terrible grief grabbed me and I couldn’t stop crying for days. Now I feel intrigued, especially by your (or shall I say, Alex’s) book, to explore further. But i do feel some blockage, something that’s stopping me. At the same time I have strange experiences, as if I was walking through ‘past life’ whenever I go to a place with long/ancient history or visit a museum… I kind of sense-see people of that time milling about, as they are parts of today’s crowd. Even me being in London must be by some spiritual guidance. Having lived on beaches of Greece and Croatia, it has never ever crossed my mind to venture up north, where the cliche goes, constantly rains and people constantly talk about the weather. Then I was sent a dream, when I was about 12 years old.. My mother took me to an overnight trip to London. Funny enough, it was sunny. I was walking the streets around Trafalgar square, visited guitar shops off Charring Cross Road, bought a record… everything was very, very real. Years later (more than 20 years later), when I finally found myself in London, I felt so much at home.. I knew the streets and I never got lost. It has shocked me. Well, what I’m trying to say, I believe I’m still quite sceptical (perhaps out of fear of not understanding) but having an open mind and certain desires, sparked with experience of something higher and much more beautiful. Thank you and Alex for the book and the insight. I might feel braver to explore the Spirit world (and myself) now. And I feel so tempted to translate it and send it to people in my country…I think they are in great need of having an eye opener like this! 😀 Simi

Hi Leo, Thank you for your book. I read it immediately and couldn’t put it down. I loved it and felt a deep soul cleanse after reading it. It made me happy and every time I think about your book I feel a sense of peace and can’t help but smile. The Spirit that guided you showed me a realistic vision of life and death that takes away all fears and answered the question to why are we here.  I have already leant out the book to Annette but I will be telling a many people as possible to bug your book.
Blessings to you always, Carolyn.

Hi Leo, I read your book, found it an absolute delight. I have passed both copies on to neighbours one of whom phoned me to say she found it a delightful read, it made her cry! I.

I would like to do that because it was such a good read and has given me the most pleasant ‘dreams’ of spirit.

I will leave it to you now dear Leo.

Love, joy and peace to you and yours.

Loved your book. Will give it to C****** tomorrow when we meet to see the movie Noah.

It’s funny when I met you I went out of my way to block your beliefs because it imposed on my own and I knew my Tongan Great Grandmother would say ‘you shouldn’t be playing with that’; meaning don’t toy with the spirit world. But reading the book reinforced the spiritualism I live with from her human existence and our intertwining lives. That should be weird because of the cultural gap between our beliefs and cultures, but it’s not. This book is so far from anything I have or would ever read, and if I’d seen it on the shelf and not met you, I would never have touched it, but instead would’ve turned my nose up at it and laughed in my head at the authors naivety to believe in such things. I’ve lived so long with my own beliefs that I’d become closed off to others and I’m the one who has become naïve.

I loved it. Really easy to read, really enlightening. Difficult to explain to others that are inquisitive about it, which are many as I find it difficult to not tell others of what I’ve learnt. I’m looking forward to it being accessible on line so the many people I know who are in wheelchairs can access it. Some talk of their accidents, and the short interval of death before resuscitation. Most I speak to are very keen to understand what they went through at that time.

Thank you Leo for my new outlook at this world and the possibility of the next ones.

Judy Rae.

“I read Leo Bonomo’s book “Summerland” and when I began reading it I could not put it down, either!! I love this reader’s comment: “It should come with a warning!” I was not able to put it down, either, until I finished reading it. It is the story of Alex, a 14 year old boy’s passing to spirit and what he encounters on the “other side”, and the many scenarios of learning we can all hope to experience. It was especially spellbinding for me to read of the love-bond between Alex and his mother that continues on after his passing.
I will be gifting this book to some of my friends. Maria.

“omg….I got your book..summerland !!! its fab…it should come with a warning! lol I have trouble putting the book down….may have to surgically remove it from my hand! …I havent finished yet…but it has given me a greater understanding of how spirit work…well done!!!” Kim.

Mathew Hutton’s review of Summerland,

Leo Bonomo brings you “Summerland” given to him by spirit and put into words

by Leo. This book presents various teachings in a “Story form”, something that may prove very interesting… but what is the book actually about? Leo puts it better himself with:

SUMMERLAND is a most unusual book. It is written by spirit, those whom we may call Guardian Angels, and has been written specifically as a NOVEL. This is the very first time this has been done.

It has been written as a Novel for a special purpose. So that this simple story of life, the change (Death) and our eternal existence may be told. Its aim is to express the fact that there is more to us than some of us would like to acknowledge. But it is something that more and more of us are beginning to believe in and understand. Man has an inherent knowledge that something else exists, A God or Creator whichever name we give it.

The way the novel is presented for me, makes “Summerland” a highly interesting read. As the story goes on, we are introduced to important aspects of Leo’s life through the use of personal pictures, but he also gives us highly informed teachings that we may apply to our own lives: One of the greatest gifts you can ever give is the release of the fear of death (The Change) with its release comes a wonderful feeling of the enjoyment of this life. Strange you may think?

Not at all, when that fear has gone and you know that a wonderful “after life” is there – I put that in quotation marks because the reality is that this existence is just for the blink of an eye in eternity, and what we go to IS the Reality therefore what we are experiencing, now, is just a “dream” to experience.

“Summerland” is one of the most interesting and extraordinarily thought-provoking reads it has been my pleasure to examine. The Novel way in which intricate concepts are presented makes them so much easier and entertaining to follow. This is a definite must-read and may leave you with a heightened sense and understanding of yourself you never thought possible before.

Moe wrote: “I’m not Surprised at all, your work is empowering and amazingly blessed with spirit, how beautiful, the book rocks !!!!!!!!!!!!!”

This book, what can I say, already I am getting signs from everywhere and, its as if I already know all of what is in the book but that its being underlined if you know what I mean.  I had a real sob cry Monday evening, out of the blue when I was thinking about the book.  I haven’t been reading this at home but only when I’ve been travelling – for some reason that is when I’m meant to read it so taking a bit longer.  I dreamt of David last night, it was real, we were talking about the passing of our dog Charlie who died in the November before David in the December.  Then, as I was walking into the bedroom and David was walking into the livingroom door, he turned and called me and threw money at me, he just said here Anne this is for you.  He would often do that to me when he was alive, he would throw £200 in fifties and say go and buy yourself something.  I think he is saying not to worry about money.  Anyway…. I am travelling to Oxford on Saturday morning so I will read it then and take with me. Just had to keep you posted and, I will be noting a lot of points in Amazon when I put in my review.

 Bye for now….  Ann x

Dearest Leo, Thank you for your beautiful book and I also love the cover and most of all, your message.

THANK YOU Leo and, just for the record, it was well worth waiting for.

When I opened up your book I felt as if I’ve waited all my life for this book, very strange indeed. Can’t wait to start reading it and massive hugs to you Leo. Thanks for being so genuine in this rather hard world at times. Anne x
Hi Leo, The book arrived today and I was just about to try and track your old email when you clearly heard me calling … I have read the first couple of pages and it looks perfect… and in true Divine intervention has arrived in perfect timing too… (hence the delays I suspect!! sorry).

Leo has the greatest ability to connect with spirit , he is down to earth and compassionate , is able to communicate with spirit with a wonderful sense of humour that spirit shares with him. I highly recommend the writings of Leo , to receive a reading from Leo is amazing adventure that one simply must experience.

Glennis

So blessings to you Leo, I will gladly write up on Amazon once I have read it… and thank you and the Angels for sending it to me at this crossroads in my life… the unseen forces always know what is best xxx Melanie

Hi Leo,  Thank you so much for sending me my copy of Summerland – since receiving it yesterday, I have not been able to put it down – it is so beautifully written and speaks to my inner spirit with such emotion and with such wonderfully clear ‘explanations’ of life after life.  Blessings to you  Love Sam   x

Not only is a Leo a fine writer he is a terrific medium who connects the divine with highest regard and intention. The book is an example of pure discovery of the awareness that extends beyond our bodies!

Maureen.

This is a private one of which there are many, not on Amazon

Hi Leo,

I have just finished reading your book ‘Summerland’ and found it a real inspiration. It has seemed to open up a door in my life and everything a thought I believed about life death and the way things work seems to make sense and all fit into place.

I grew up in London too; my granddad owned a shop for many years before he died. I have a sister ******, recently we feel there is something missing in both our lives and have a longing to do more. Your book has come to us at exactly the right time.

I hope you don’t mind me emailing you? From a young age spirit has been a big part of my life, I have always felt that people are with me, but my first real experience I remember is seeing my Nan at her own funeral in the corner of the church aged about 11.

I have then had communication with them via picture messages, dreams, smells, visions, tastes and hearing spirit, over the years when things have been shown to me. This always seemed very natural to me, and I never really questioned it until becoming an adult, it just seemed to be a part of my life which I accepted.

My sister is the one who offered me your book to read having read it herself and was not able to put it down.

It’s seems like your book has lit some of the way and sparked our faith again in what we always thought we believed, but wasn’t sure why or where it all came from, but currently we feel a bit in the dark as to where to go next.

Many thanks for your time, I appreciate your probably very busy, any guidance you could give us would be greatly appreciated.

Best wishes
